Gülşen is a multi-disciplinary researcher and artist exploring data and digital technologies as material systems and abstract representations, as well as the coded desires for legibility and power. She questions what gets counted and erased, and what happens when we refuse to identify and conform. Gülşen is particularly interested in collectively imagining alternative forms of data and technology structures. Her work aims to divest of current technological imaginaries that lead to social inequalities and create dialogues around new possible futures.
